How do I invite other Artists?
Your route to successfully funding your first project is doing a good job of inviting a group of musician friends to create projects of their own. (and to help you fund yours)
Choose Friends who Sound like You
Choose musician friends whose music style is similar to yours. This will allow you to more easily share resources in the future. You and your friends as a group will all be able to attract your 'True Fans' -- fans who have similar music interests. (A die-hard fan of someone who you like to jam with is a likely candidate to be a die-hard fan of yours.)
Choose Musicians from other Cities
If most of the Artists you invite live in other locations, then you will be able to network with them not only to build your fan base, but also to trade gigs, to offer places to stay the night or to host after-show parties.
Choose Musicians who are more Established than You
By choosing musicians you admire and who are more established, you will be placing yourself within their larger fan network.
Make these Musicians your 'Top Friends' on MySpace
If you all feature each other on your MySpace pages then you are building collective marketing power and you can more easily convert the new 'MySpace Friends' you acquire into becoming 'True Fans'.
Help each Musician you invite to Create their own Microfinance Project
Show them how to register and create their profile at www.tuneyourworld.com. Help them define and describe their own microfinance project. Make sure that they become your 'friend' at TuneYourWorld.com.
